Silicone oil pan heaters are designed for easy installation on metal surfaces, typically with a peel-and-stick adhesive. 

Heating:

They are connected to a power source (usually a 120V/220V or 12V outlet) and heat up the oil pan, which in turn warms the oil.

Safety:
